§ 38-173. Disposition of processed materials.

The council authorizes the staff to decide on the disposition of chips and processed compost in the following manner: distribution to the general public residing in the town, and to the department of parks and recreation, schools, hospitals and other not-for-profit entities. The staff shall regulate the time, place and manner of disposition so as to follow town safety regulations and not to disrupt the recycling, composting or landfilling operations.
